Portfolio

Book Portfolio

  • Front Cover: Artwork, name and dates
  • Inside Cover: Contact details - Social media and email
  • Introduction: What the book is, what materials I have used, etc.
  • Contents: previous project work and work I've made outside of college, this should include... Character design, Environments, 3D work, Experiments/sketches, narrative illustration, animation frame, and anything else that will help show off my skills
  • Back Page: Summary of the content and a closing statement
  • Back Cover: Blurb explaining the content of my book

Handheld Portfolio

  • Printed copies of all of the work I have created within and outside of the course so far.
  • Life drawing classes
  • Character design
  • Animation frames
  • Sequential imagery
  • Experimentations
The book portfolio should be more refined than the handheld portfolio. The handheld one should show all of your work, including the pieces you may not be as proud of, as they can still show your client the skills you are capable of, even if you yourself do not like the specific piece.
